“TO HARVEST STRENGTHS, SO WE MAY NOURISH OUR JOURNEY TOWARDS SUCCESS”

Who is LIMB-itless Outdoors?

A Washington native, I was raised hunting the western Cascade mountains; chasing Blacktail deer and Roosevelt elk. My family introduced guns and gun safety at a very early age and archery followed in suit. By the age of twelve I was navigating the timber and clear-cuts along the boundry of the Toutle River. In the mid-90's I started backcountry hunting before backcountry hunting was cool and idolized the likes of the late Dwight Schuh. I now hunt multiple species in various states and have found success harvesting Red Stag in Spain.

I am a 28-year Navy Combat Veteran with an extensive background in Special Operations and Explosive Ordnance Disposal. At 39, after returning from my second combat tour in Iraq, I lost my right leg in a tragic motorcycle accident. After 3 years of recovery and rehab, I returned to a deployable status and was honored with the opportunity to lead a 4-man Special Forces EOD platoon as the team Chief.

“Adventure Through Discomfort is a Life of Uncommon Experiences”

My activities and hobbies are not limited to hunting. Fishing, especially out of my kayak, soaks up a fair amount of time. I also believe in fitness as it contributes to my outdoor success. Functional fitness and running are my primary methods of physical training. I am a 3-time Boston Marathon qualifier/finisher and Ultra Marathon runner. Writing is a quiet pleasure and I have been published on several occasions.

I am now residing on the east coast, living a life without physical boundaries, focused on helping others discover their untapped potential. I hope my life story and adventures inspire those who may need a motivational boost or voice of experience.
